We are excited to announce the upcoming early access release of “C.A.S.T.” - the sequel to the prototype game “CHERNOZEM”!

CHERNOZEM - co-op survival horror inspired by Resident Evil and Silent Hill is in early development by our two-person team. Check out our prototype demo showcasing atmosphere and some of gameplay.

Chernozem is a small mining town located in the south of Chernovaria. You wake up in the medical infirmary of the miners' dormitory after a dream with a hellish landscape.

You can play this game solo or with up to four players in multiplayer mode.

WASD - Move

Shift - Sprint

E - Interact

Tab - Open Inventory

Right Click - Aim

Left Click - Fire/Attack

F1 - Exit to main menu

Unblock UDP (not TCP), Port 7777.

Use Hamachi, Radmin, or any similar software.

Regardless of the method copy host's IP address, paste it in place of localhost, and click Connect button.

Overall a great game, I like the style a lot.

Wish there was some soundtrack and an indication of the melee damage different weapons do, as it's hard to tell which one is better :D

Sorry, but honestly, me and my friend have tried for more than 30 or 1 hour to try to connect to multiplayer, but we can't, we have connected in hamachi, we have copied the IP, and we pasted it into the game, but when we hit to connect, nothing happens, I don't know if we are doing something wrong, honestly, the game looks incredible, and I would like to try it, but until I can solve the problem of being able to connect to multiplayer, I don't think I will be able to play it. Please, if you read this, could you help me? thank you

Hi!

Multiple people were able to connect by unblocking the port or using Hamachi. Therefore, it's definitely possible.

Could you please try connecting to your friend again, wait for about 15 seconds, then exit the game and send me the file located at the path using https://pastebin.com/

i tryed to play with my friend but i couldnt, we both unblocked the UDP and tryed connecting on each others ip and still didnt work,any ideea why it could not work?

Hi!

It's not easy to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue. The reason could vary depending on the specific router you're using. Have you only opened the port inside the firewall, or have you also adjusted the settings in the router?

Opening a port inside the firewall may or may not work, depending on your router. If you want to give it a try, you can check the instructions on how to open ports for your specific router model. Alternatively, I recommend using programs like Hamachi or Radmin, as they are way easier to set up.

Start the game, click the Host button, and send your IP address to your friends. For it to work, port 7777 needs to be open.
